Sales Manager

Job Type: Part Time | Department: Sales | Salary: $20-$25/hr | Location: Remote, Missouri or Georgia

Position Overview:

The Sales Manager leads efforts to drive membership growth, increase sponsorships, and support revenue initiatives across all VBA programs, including VBA Connect and EmpowerED. This role supervises Member Consultants, ensures sales goals are met, manages client relationships, and collaborates with marketing to align sales promotions. The Sales Manager plays a key role in expanding VBA’s reach and delivering value to new and existing members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and support the Member Consultant team to achieve monthly membership and sponsorship goals.

  • Develop and execute strategies for outreach to individuals, businesses, and potential partners.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing membership sign-ups and sponsorship deals.

  • Track and report on sales metrics and provide forecasts to the Sales Director.

  • Support the marketing team with promotions, campaigns, and event coordination that tie into sales initiatives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing members, ensuring a positive onboarding experience.

  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional services such as Kreadiv creative services.

  • Collaborate with Finance on invoicing needs and assist in resolving payment issues when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions in the CRM.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or customer success.

  • Experience managing or mentoring a small sales team preferred.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and CRM systems.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Motivated by targets and passionate about helping members grow their businesses.
