Job Description
This is a remote position.
The Order Management Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth procurement of products for all departments while adhering to business needs and budget guidelines. This position requires strong attention to detail, supplier coordination, and budget management to maintain efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities
Procure necessary products for all departments, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and operational needs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for most suppliers, fostering strong vendor relationships.
Monitor and maintain budgets, ensuring all purchases align with financial constraints and business priorities.
Track and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any supplier issues.
Collaborate with department heads to anticipate product needs and inventory levels.
Stay updated on supplier pricing, contracts, and market trends to optimize procurement strategies.
Requirements
Experience in order management, purchasing, or procurement.
Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
Ability to analyze budgets and maintain cost-effective purchasing practices.
Proficiency in inventory tracking systems and supplier management tools (preferred).
Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and ability to multitask.
WFH Requirements
Must have verified internet service (secure, reliable and dedicated high speed is required to support business needs) and an established dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection). Company will provide equipment (computer, monitor, keyboard, etc.) after 90 days of employment.
Must maintain workspace in alignment with WFH standards (e.g., technical, security, physical, noise levels, Clean Desk policy etc.) and participate in workspace audits (e.g., remote desktop observation, call and screen recordings, live webcam monitoring, pictures of workspace setup, video chats, etc.).
Be available, accessible, and accountable to work during established work schedules and shifts, follow technical support processes, comply with organizational security and compliance standards, training, performance management, recurring management routines, manual and automated remote monitoring policies, etc.
