Remote-First with In-Person Event Participation
As a Marketing Specialist for VBA, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies remotely, helping to promote VBA and Kreadiv across various channels. You will work from home to coordinate events, develop campaigns, and boost brand awareness. However, this role also includes attending in-person marketing events and EmpowerED initiatives in your region to ensure smooth event execution, maintain brand visibility, and foster connections with the local business community.
Work Remotely: Plan and implement marketing campaigns, manage social media, and develop marketing materials from your home office.
In-Person Events: Attend monthly events for VBA, Kreadiv, and EmpowerED to engage directly with the community and enhance event visibility.
Mileage Paid: Travel to in-person events will be compensated with paid mileage.
The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in executing and managing marketing initiatives, ensuring brand consistency, and optimizing the company’s digital presence. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and creative skills to enhance marketing efforts across various channels.
Responsibilities
Ensure marketing initiatives are clearly communicated and effectively executed.
Edit and approve all marketing materials to align with brand guidelines and company messaging.
Manage the company’s web presence, including the website, social media, and other marketing assets.
Maintain and coordinate all communications and media materials to ensure consistency and engagement.
Organize and coordinate marketing events, ensuring smooth execution and brand visibility.
Create and maintain marketing documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external use.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in marketing strategies and processes.
Stay up to date with industry trends and develop new skills in communication and media planning.
Requirements
Experience in marketing, communications, or digital media management.
Strong skills in content editing, branding, and marketing strategy execution.
Knowledge of website management, SEO, and social media platforms.
Excellent organizational and event planning abilities.
Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a passion for marketing.
WFH Requirements
Must have verified internet service (secure, reliable and dedicated high speed is required to support business needs) and an established dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection). Company will provide equipment (computer, monitor, keyboard, etc.) after 90 days of employment.
Must maintain workspace in alignment with WFH standards (e.g., technical, security, physical, noise levels, Clean Desk policy etc.) and participate in workspace audits (e.g., remote desktop observation, call and screen recordings, live webcam monitoring, pictures of workspace setup, video chats, etc.).
Be available, accessible, and accountable to work during established work schedules and shifts, follow technical support processes, comply with organizational security and compliance standards, training, performance management, recurring management routines, manual and automated remote monitoring policies, etc.
